A Note from an Essential Husband!!
There are many stories I have been hearing lately about wives that are beginning a new adventure of moving away from modern pharmaceutical medicine and learning to use and trust essential oils designed by our heavenly father. Oils that were created to heal and make our bodies whole without the use of harmful chemicals being injected into our bodies. But along with these stories, are stories of husbands that are skeptical, and either not wanting to believe that these oils can and do work, or just don’t want to make a change in general because of the “work” that is involved. I am writing this as a testimonial that will hopefully help you, the wives, instill some hope and belief in your husbands. Because in reality, just as spouses should be as one with church, discipline, raising of children, etc., they should also be as one with the way they treat not only their bodies, but their children’s. This letter is not only to hit on the topic of essential oils, but on the naturalistic side of life in general. Your first thought is that we are tree huggers, and bible beaters. Well, yes we do love the bible and God. We center our lives around Him. After all He created us. But it is more than that; We do not dislike doctors or physicians... we dislike the pharmaceutical companies that are beginning to control not just the medical community but our lives in general. They are designed to make us dependent on them. That is how they make their money. Cell phones crap out after a year, that is how cell phone companies force you to buy a new one every year. IT IS A BUSINESS. Doctors ARE out there to help you, pharmaceutical companies are NOT. They are out there to make their paycheck and to make it larger... AT ALL COSTS. God wants nothing but the absolute best for us, pharmaceutical companies want nothing but our money. Why do you think they have “possible side effects”? Every medicine that is man modified, will require another medicine after that, and another after that.
With that said, you may look at me as a husband that just does whatever my wife tells me. Well at this point, in regards to medicine and essential oils, I do. But its not the whipped factor, it’s because I now trust her completely with these things. And this is year 4 of her not just introducing oils to me, but changing my whole way of life. 4 years ago, I was a diet coke drinking, McDonald’s eating, Little Debbie buying, give me whatever the commercial tells me is good... type of guy. I loved those things. It was so hard to give them up. There were many many arguments and disagreements of what she thought was good for me and what i just flat out wanted. It took many many attempts from her presenting researched tools to me, for me to finally start seeing the benefits. And you have heard them all. The food is cleaner, not modified, better for you, healthier, fresher, etc. It took her showing me that Aspartame (in Diet Coke) was linked heavily to Parkinson’s disease, which is what my grandfather died from, to finally realize what effects aspartame can have on your body and mind. Do you realize how hard it was to give up Diet Coke? There were many failed attempts. It was an addiction that is now gone because I see the benefits first hand. That is the same with the Essential oils. I know you think, “Well how could rubbing a drop of oil between your big toe and you other toe possibly heal a congested chest?”, or “there is no way a little drop of peppermint on my temple will make a headache go away”. The fact is they do work. This is coming from the guy who put up every fight possible with this stuff. I didn't believe any of them. And yes, it may take a little extra effort and work on your part to research how to use the oil, but why put something from the TV that you have no idea what is in it, and it has a million side effects into your body just because its easier to grab it off the shelf? Really? So please please listen to me at least a little bit! Your wives have nothing but your best interest in mind. They want nothing more than to see you healthy and well (Unless of course you did something to make her mad) haha. I assure you these oils work. They are God’s design, and if you believe in God, you know how great He is and how much He loves us.

So I’m sure there will be some time before you (husbands) come around, but
please please please give it a chance. I did and I would not go back. I love my
wife and support her. I challenge her and she challenges me, but we are a team.
